PMHA Alliance Joins Set & Setting Collaborative

PMHA Alliance had the pleasure of joining the Set & Setting Collaborative at 1440 Multiversity this spring. Launched by the International Arts + Mind Lab, the Collaborative is a multidisciplinary initiative exploring how “set and setting”—the psychological, social, and environmental conditions surrounding an experience—shape transformational outcomes across health, education, the arts, and society at large.

The March 22 gathering convened researchers, clinicians, artists, cultural leaders, and educators to co-create a shared vision for applying these principles not only in psychedelic-assisted therapy, but across systems of care and learning. A central aim is to define and elevate best practices that center ethics, cultural intelligence, and human well-being.

PMHA Alliance is honored to contribute to this field-building effort by sharing data and insights focused on culturally attuned and resonant environments for psychedelic-assisted therapy. At the same time, we’re learning from the Collaborative—drawing on its collective wisdom to inform the design of our pilots and care models.

To get involved or stay connected with the Collaborative, you can join their mailing list or share relevant opportunities by contacting Anne Palmer at anne.palmer@artsandmindlab.org.
